The Beauty and Challenge of Catholicism

Presenter: Fr. John Edmunds, ST (Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity)
A Baltimore native, Fr. John made his first vows as a Missionary Servant of the Most Holy Trinity in 1970 and was ordained to the priesthood on May 15, 1976. He has worked in California, Chicago, Louisiana, Alabama, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia. His ministries have included parish work, youth work, community development, vocation work, campus ministry, formation work, and leadership roles within his religious community. Most of his ministries have been among the African-American community. Before his time as Custodial General of the Missionary Servants, Fr. John spent seventeen years as pastor of an inner city parish in Jersey City, New Jersey.
What will happen on this prayer & study day? Fr. John will present twice in the morning and once in the afternoon. Each session will end with time in small groups for discussion followed by Q & A with Fr. John. There will be time for quiet prayer, breaks with refreshments, and the retreat day will conclude with the vigil Mass for Sunday. You will meet old friends and make new ones. The day will be facilitated by Robert and Lori Fontana.
Cost: $30 (single), $50 (couple) Scholarships available.
